Coram’s Fields is an historic site and a magical place for children in central London. The seven acre open access playground is a safe and stimulating environment for children’s recreation and education. The space has grassed areas, an exciting mix of accessible play equipment, all weather pitches for sports activities, a pets’ corner and wild life garden.
It was imperative that a brand for this facility should be flexible and exciting enough to express all of its facets to a diverse audience. Through a series of workshops and interviews, we devised a brand idea that was truly indicative of Coram’s unique personality - ‘A haven for play’. Depending on the communication material, the idea of ‘A haven for....’ can also be followed by words such as; generations, fun
and expression.
The trees within Coram’s Fields act as beacons to the outside world and we introduced this quality into the brand toolkit. Coupled with the warm marque, bright colour palette, rounded typeface and bespoke, lively imagery, Coram’s Fields can have fun at all times whether creating a poster or a tree set in the soft tarmac for children to play on.
